A friend told me about this new product (after both she and I had bad experiences with OPI Axxium Gel.) This press-on polish promises to stay on for 10 days with barely any chipping. The first time I used this product I bought a shimmery-gold color called "Raise a Glass." It did stay on for a full week, but then it began to crack and chip. I next bought "Red-y For Trouble." This time it failed miserably. The red had a bright pink hue once it was on my nails and it was much harder to apply than the gold. I ended up throwing in the towel mid-manicure, removing the polish and throwing out the remaining strips. I did, however, mail a box of Salon Effects to my best friend who is living in Thailand, (She loves nail polish too and I feel as though she should have a chance to try out all of the new nail fads while abroad.)
My local pharmacies (all 3 of them) did not have the selection of Salon Effects that I see online. I would be interested in trying "Violet Night" if I can get my hands on it. I am NOT a huge fan of nail art or glitter so most of the other colors will not be coming home with me. Although I must admit that "Misbehaved" looks cute on other nail bloggers I have seen, so I may try it out. I know that some of you have tried various Salon Effects colors.
